This accessibility statement applies to www.yourcarehome.co.uk.
YourCareHome is committed to making its website as accessible and usable as reasonably possible for all visitors.
We believe the website is already usable for many people and includes a number of accessibility-friendly features, such as clear top-level navigation, prominent search tools, structured headings and multiple ways to browse care providers by service type and location.
However, we know some parts of the website may still be improved, and we are continuing to make accessibility improvements over time through our WordPress platform, theme settings, plugins and content updates.
What we think we do well
- clear top-level navigation;
- prominent search and browse options;
- structured content sections and headings on key pages;
- clear category and service labels; and
- multiple ways to find care providers, including by location, provider and care type.
Areas we may still improve
Although many parts of the website are usable, some pages or features may still have issues such as inconsistent heading structure, form labelling, keyboard accessibility, colour contrast, link clarity, image alternative text or older content that could be improved.
Our approach
We aim to improve accessibility over time, with reference to recognised good practice including WCAG 2.2 Level AA where reasonably practicable. We do not currently claim full conformance across the entire website.
Feedback and contact
If you find an accessibility problem on the website, or need help accessing any content, please contact us via our contact page.
